INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY CELEBRATION

Celebrated globally, we will gather embracing the 2023 theme: “DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equity.” The event will explore bringing women and marginalized groups to advancements in digital education that can increase the awareness of women and girls regarding their rights and civic engagement. Currently, growing inequalities are becoming increasingly evident in the concept of digital skills and access to technologies that are needed for all to succeed. Additional issues related to advancement and enhancement of women will be addressed. 

The event features: Quality food, speakers, and music to make this a celebration like we experienced prior to Covid. Soloist Peggi Briggs will begin the celebration with the International Women’s Day theme song, “I Am Woman.” 

Tickets are $20 and must be purchased by March 6. They can be purchased at the February General Meeting or by calling Sharon Rezac Andersen at 218-255-0905. There is space for 85 participants.
